Officine Générale was established in 2012 by Pierre Maheo. Maheo was largely influenced by his grandfather, a tailor; and his father, an oysterman. These influences instilled a deep appreciation for cut, silhouette, and durability of clothing in Maheo's workmanship. You can see these influences throughout Officine Générale collections from the exterior (casual suiting, down parkas, felted overcoats) to the interior (wool crewnecks, robust hoodies, cotton jersey t-shirts finished in classic Breton stripe).
